TRAGOA Verification is a service we offer to bring a basic level of identity verification to our platform in order to make our platform more safe for our members.
Why TRAGOA verification?
At TRAGOA we care about the safety of our members. TRAGOA verification provides our platform with a base level of verification, security, and authenticity.
Members who verify can signal to other members that they have passed one or more of the verification types TRAGOA offers. Verification status is displayed as badges and information on a member's profile. Going through the verification processes will boost confidence and trust in member to member communications.
While TRAGOA verification offers a first step in member verification, it is not, and should not be used as, an end all solution. Rather, it should be seen as a preliminary gauge of a member's authenticity.

Types of TRAGOA verification offered:
Individual Identity
Individual identity verification on TRAGOA uses document checks, AML checks, and liveness detection.
Business
Business verification is done through uploading business documents and information for review.
3rd Party
3rd party verification is done through a third party website providing us with their proof of identity.

What do the badges represent?
Below are the badges that represent verification types and the a member's verification status. The following are descriptions of these badges:
Individual Identity Verified
This badge signifies that the member has completed our individual identity process and passed.
Individual Identity Rejected
This badge signifies that the member has completed our individual identity process and was rejected.
Business Documents Uploaded
This badge signifies that the member has uploaded public business documents for verification, but the next steps in the verification process have not yet been completed.
Business Verified
This badge signifies that the member has uploaded business documents for verification and they have been reviewed and passed.
Business Rejected
This badge signifies that the member has uploaded business documents for verification and they have been reviewed and rejected.
3rd Party
This badge signifies that the member is affiliated with a 3rd party partner and they have verified the member. Which party verified the member can be seen on their profile.
TRAGOA Admin
This badge signifies that the member is a TRAGOA Admin and they are a member of the TRAGOA team, or TRAGOA's official account.
